Go Hurricanes!
At left, Kim Shuey accepts a giant check representing a donation of $3,676 from the student body of Wren High School at their January 22 pep rally. Check presenters are Student Body President Taylor Brock, center, and VP Cody Sargent. The Wren students raised money by selling "I'm Blue" tee shirts, a faculty-student basketball game and other events during winter Spirit Week.
Oh, You Beautiful Doll!
In the picture Barbara Berry, left, owner of The Berry House Gift
Shop with her husband Chuck, donated a signed Middleton Doll as a
raffle prize to the Cancer Association of Anderson. Lucky winner Louise
Vitanza is obviously thrilled with her new "baby." The raffle raised
$1,551 for CAA. Executive Director Kathryn Smith, right, drew the
winning name.

The Wall of Hope and Remembrance
Leslie Wilkerson chooses a place for the name of her mother, Carole King Bain, on the Wall of Hope and Remembrance in the central hall of our office. When we receive donations totaling $500 or more in honor or memory of someone, their name can be placed on the wall. We'll schedule a reception for family and friends when the name is placed. Call Kathryn at 222-3500 for information.
