The Cancer Association of Anderson was founded in March 2003 by a group of cancer survivors, health care professionals and community leaders who want to improve the quality of life for cancer patients and survivors and their families living in Anderson County, South Carolina.
The charming 100-year-old home that houses our office belongs to Dr. Rajeev Malik, and we appreciate so much his generosity!
 Our Services Include:
  • Up to $1,000 a year in assistance for treatment-related expenses, including prescription medicine and gas to get to medical appointments

  • Emotional support through support groups and free enrollment in AnMed Health's Oncology Rehab program

  • Free new and gently used wigs, hats, breast prostheses and mastectomy bras

  • A library of books and pamphlets

  • Connection to other people who have fought cancer and survived.

  • Referral to services here and elsewhere that will help cancer patients and their families

  • Loans of medical equipment in partnership with Anderson Lights of Hope

Office Hours: Monday-Thursday, 8:30 to 5, Friday, 8:30 to Noon. (Note: If you are a new patient, please schedule your visit before noon or after 2 p.m. when we can give you our best service.)
