Lance Armstrong completed his last Tour de France in July -- but the Anderson County Tour de LaFrance is still ahead! Be part of the 14- and 40-mile bicycle rides, criterium race for amateur and professional riders, charity pedal race, kids'
bicycle safety rodeo and other activities. Or just come and watch! On-line registration

Cancer Association of Anderson benefits
from registrations for the short and long rides for this event. Here is the schedule for Saturday's events:
- 7 a.m. Registration for 14mile Fun Ride or 40-mile Challenge Ride at LaFrance Elementary School
- 8 a.m. Riders depart LaFrance.
- 9 a.m. Tour de LaFrance Criterium
begins on Main Street. Different categories of riders will race
throughout the day, concluding with the pro cyclists' race at 5:15 p.m.
- 10:30 a.m. Charity Pedal Race, Anderson County Courthouse. Cancer Association's contestant is Will Caison, who will be riding his late son Bryce's pedal vehicle. Will promises to SHAVE HIS LEGS if he meets his fund-raising goal of $1,500! Let's help him do it!
- 11 a.m. Safe Kids Bike Rodeo -- bring your own bikes! Free helmet fittings and helmets as long as supplies last.
